Board Opinion 2018-001 addresses the applicability of the City ethics rules, including the Charter's political activity restrictions, to members of the Board of Education and Educational Nominating Panel. Note that this opinion was superseded in part by the November 2019 amendments to Regulation 8, which determined that the Educational Nominating Panel is subject to Article X of the Charter. See Reg. 8 ¶ 8.15 (Effective Date Nov. 7, 2019).
